Skiing on the glacier is a special experience: From autumn until early summer, you can enjoy winter sports in all its facets amid Salzburg’s only glacier ski area. Kitzsteinhorn promises snows you can count on, broad pistes, ultra-modern lifts, inviting restaurants and enormous variety for all winter sports fans.

The Maiskogel represents the perfect, “gentle” complement to the glacier: broad and easy pistes, never overcrowded and easy to navigate, also home to “Maisi Park” – the snowpark for young freestylers – combining to make this local mountain at a moderate elevation an ideal ski area for the family.

The new 3K K-onnection unites Maiskogel Family Mountain and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area into a single, unbeatable whole. Salzburg’s first tri-cable gondola makes it possible to enjoy direct ski-in ski-out convenience between the town of Kaprun and the glacier, along with absolute comfort and a unique panoramic lift ride accompanied by fascinating views of the virgin, high-alpine winter landscapes.
